Ken Land, MSW, Clinical Director of the CCAA
Ken has 27 years of experience in mental health, earning his master's in social work from Wayne State University in 1982. He offers group, indvidual and couples therapy. His specialties range from men's issues, stress and anxiety management, hypnotherapy, and in-service training. He is also a trainer in the art and science of Storytelling Therapy.

Nancy Burks, Ph.D.
Nancy has been in private practice for over 10 years. She is a fully-licensed psychologist, having received a docorate in clinical psychology from the Unversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986. She is experienced in treating depression, anxiety, stress-related problems and many other issues in patients of all ages. Nancy also has a strong background in treating chronic pain, neurological problems, and other disabling conditions. She focuses on helping clients change what they can in their lives and learn to accept what they cannot change.

Steve Trierweiler, Ph.D.
He is a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of experience in working with adults, adolescents, couples and families. He received his doctoral clinical training at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the UCLA Medical Center. He is interested in improving the important relationships in clients' lives to relieve distress and promote health and well-being. He addresses problems associated with depression and mood disorder, anxiety, parent-child relationships, couples' relationships, stress, self-esteem, and personality. In so doing, he helps clients to understand better how culture, gender, social, and spiritual issues affect their experience and their achievement of life goals. Dr. Trierweiler has trained clinical psychologists for many years and has taught at Smith College, Antioch University, and the University of Michigan. The model he designed (with colleague, George Stricker ) for training scientifically-minded clinical practitioners is used at training sites nationwide.

Marian Karl, Ph.D.
She received her limited license in psychology in 1988 and practiced as a psychometrist for the next 11 years while earning her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1999. Her practice includes providing psychotherapy and psychological testing services for adults and psycho-educational evaluation for children ages six years and up. Her orientation employs psychodynamic, neurobiological, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. She is equally comfortable with individuals requiring short-term crisis intervention and those needing long term psychotherapy treatment.
 
Dr. Karl specializes in treating attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, the bipolar spectrum disorders, medical/rehabilitation psychology issues, post traumatic stress disorder, employment/career problems, dual diagnoses, traumatic brain injury, psychotic and dissociative disorders, anger management, and anxiety and depression. She is also skilled at "fitness for duty" and bariatric evaluations.

Andreas Sidiropoulos, M.D., Ph.D.
Andreas has worked extensively in the areas of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Counseling. His experience includes working as an Addiction Psychiatry Fellow at the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry, Substance Abuse Section. He is also among the limited number of physicians, able to monitor and dispense Buprenorphine treatments and registered with the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Service Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
